  • Washington DC

    • June 9 - June 14, 2026*

    Rome

    • June 30, 2026 - July 5, 2026*

    While our programs are highly subsidized, participants pay an enrollment fee to attend (see “fees” section).

    *On these programs, participants can extend their stay for three additional nights at the end of the programs to have time for themselves in these cities, paying an extra fee that only includes accommodation and potentially breakfast on the extra days.


  • In Altum is an extremely selective program, focusing on the 1% talent and participants in our program are carefully selected based on the following characteristics:

    • Faith-Driven: Committed to integrating the Catholic faith in daily life.

    • Excellence in Academia or Profession: Demonstrated high achievements in academic or professional fields, with a strong sense of community and intellectual curiosity.

    • Very High Level of English: Possessing a high level of English for effective communication and engagement.

    • Age and Background: Men and women aged 20-30 from diverse countries and backgrounds.

  • The actual cost of running In Altum exceeds significantly the enrollment fee participants pay. This means all participants receive a scholarship that allows us to reduce our enrollment fee thanks to donors who are deeply committed to our mission, and are willing to support your participation.

    Participants are required to pay a registration fee of $395 in DC or $595 in Rome to cover the program itself (detailed in the 'What's Included' section below).

  • The program includes:

    • Accommodation for 5 nights/6 days in Washington D.C. or Rome Metropolitan Area, Italy

    • Half board meal plan.

    • All program activities, such as lectures, discussions, and visits to organizations, including attractions with free entry

    It does not include:

    • Flights to Washington D.C. or Rome

    • Transportation within D.C. or Rome (public transit is easily available and convenient)

    • Dinners (evenings are free for participants to socialize and explore the city)

    • Tickets to museums and other paid attractions

  • Follow these steps to apply to In Altum:

    • Fill out our application form.

    • Complete a recorded video interview. Based on your profile, we may also invite you for a live interview with our team.

    • After a thorough review of your application, we will notify you of our decision, typically within one week.

  • Once accepted, you’ll need to complete the enrollment process, which includes paying the program fee. Afterwards, there are two key steps to prepare for the program:

    1. Submit the Onboarding Form
      Provide confirmation of your personal and travel details through our onboarding form.

    2. Complete the Pre-Program Study
      Dedicate 4–6 hours to studying Catholic thought, teachings, key facts about today’s Church, and major Church initiatives. Afterwards, you will need to complete a brief preparation quiz before the program.
