IAP Internships

Interested in understanding how a non-profit operates? Do you want to help others grow in their faith? Is visiting Washington, DC, on your bucket list? If you answered yes to any of these questions, apply to intern for The In Altum Program! We are seeking young, virtuous students who aspire to success and service.

All successful applicants will receive a J-1 visa, as well as compensation based on talent and performance.

Dates: dates are flexible depending on candidate’s availability. We accept summer, winter, and semester-long interns.

Job Description:

  • Interns are fully immersed and work hands-on on all of the In Altum brand projects. Interns aid in the creation and implementation of nonprofit initiatives.

  • The intern will not only assist but actively take the lead on several independent projects under the supervision of the Project Manage and the Managing Director.

  • Research the viability of a new program, campaign, or initiative; compile and present statistics.

  • Create a budget proposal logistics strategy for the different In Altum new projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position requires committed involvement to the assigned project. This involves doing research, sending emails, making phone calls, writing summaries and descriptions, as well as being available to help the manager whenever asked.

Qualifications:

  • Work experience: No prior work experience required

  • Education: Must have obtained a high school diploma and be starting or in the midst of obtaining a college degree.

  • Skills: Communicates well, writes effectively, shows initiative in accepting challenges, works well in an intense work setting. Should have a basic understanding of email, word processing, and spreadsheet manipulation.

  • The ideal candidate is responsible and actively takes on challenges, and works well with high expectations and low communication. The ideal candidate seeks to grow as much as possible in his professional demeanor as well as his personal character.

IAP Associate

All successful applicants will receive a J-1 visa, as well as compensation based on talent and performance.

Description:

  • Full-time position at In Altum for at least a year. Work at an intense non-profit will provide the soft skills necessary for success in a professional business setting. We are seeking a candidate who is able to take the lead on an assigned project. The ideal candidate is responsible and actively takes on challenges, and also seeks to grow as much as possible in his professional demeanor as well as his personal character.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This full-time position requires committed involvement to assigned projects, acting in some cases as an independent Project Manager or Coordinator.

  • This involves working in logistics, content creation, and marketing in an entrepreneurial new setting.

Qualifications:

  • Work experience: No prior work experience required but past internships preferred. Interest in the nonprofit sector and in the value of a liberal arts education.

  • Education: Must have a college degree and a track record of academic excellence.

  • Skills: Communicates well, writes effectively, shows initiative in accepting challenges, works well in an intense work setting. Should have a basic understanding of email, word processing, and spreadsheet manipulation.
